Irvine International Music Competition
As Artistic Director, I led the creation and organization of the Irvine Conservatory International Music Competition, an international event designed to provide meaningful learning and performance opportunities for young musicians ages 5 to 18. The competition attracts participants from more than 25 countries. I assembled a distinguished panel of world-class artists and professors to serve as jury members, ensuring a high standard of artistic excellence.
The competition includes solo and chamber music divisions for piano, violin, and cello, as well as a concerto division. Winners of the concerto category are selected to perform as soloists with an orchestra.
Prize winners have performed at Carnegie Hall and have appeared as soloists with orchestras, in addition to participating in exclusive masterclasses that support their artistic and professional development.
